I have passed over these pants at least a dozen times on my search for the perfect black slacks. Finally after reading every review one bored night, I did a little more research on Fit Right and decided to give these a try. So glad I did!!! I am a very curvy pear shape, and it is extremely hard to find pants to fit my hips and thighs without being able to pack a sack lunch in the back waistband. Well, these pants fit the bill!! If you have a small waist in comparison to your bottom, consider these pants. You won't be disappointed!! I hope Lane Bryant continues to keep wide leg slacks in stock.

Great fit, absolutely love these pants. They are a staple in my work wardrobe. I have had many pairs over the years, I have gone from a 24 to a 20! The quality is great, however, it seems I always have to repair the right pocket's seam.

Great Dress Pants

I have to disagree with the other reviewers that say the fabric is too light weight. I normally wear pants liners under dress slacks to smooth out my bumps and lumps but with these I don't need to as there is enough weight to the fabric. (I did triple check to make sure that these are the pants that I ordered back in November and have worn all winter but the product number 110709 does match up even though the description does say belt loops my two pairs don't have any nor do the ones in the pictures.)
With a 38" waist and my low hips (area around my upper thighs) measuring 56" I am definately a Blue in Right Fit and it is so nice to have pants that drape on my legs but are not gaping at the waist that I need to take in (In the size 20 the waist is still a little large but so comfy to wear sitting all day and it does fit lower than my natural waist.). At 5'9" these are the perfect length for me to wear a low heel. How nice to be able to wear a pair of pants right off the rack without needing to alter in any way!

I really love the concept of Right Fit Pants. My waist is a lot smaller than my hips, thighs and butt. However, I really think the quality of these pants leave something to be desired. The material is thin and collects every bit of lint and pet hair. I've bought a dozen pairs of Right Fit Pants in the past and these are my least favorite.

I have always been on the borderline of misses and plus-size. I normally wear a 16 in pants but can range up to an 18 because my hips and thighs are much larger than my waist. I always had at least 6 inches gaping open in my waist in pants in order to get them to fit my hips and thighs. I was trying on various pants at the store when the associate recommended I try the blue right fit pants. The size 14 in the blue right fit system fits me perfectly. For the first time ever I found pants that fit me right off the rack, talk about excited and impressed! I completely replaced all of my work pants in my closet with all of the styles available in the right fit system. I am so glad Lane Bryant makes these pants to fit a girl like me who has constantly had to tailor pants, so now I am able to buy pants off the rack and they fit me as if they were made for me!

Right Fit Technology tends to be a good fit for Lane Bryant- but I wasn't impressed with these. They were off a bit in terms of size (ran a tad small) and the color seemed washed out in the black. Also the fabric is thin- which shows the dimples/untoned parts of one's thighs... Go for the flared pants- thicker more stretchy fabric and much more flattering.
