When I got them in I tried them on immediately. Although I like the color and the lower-half fit, there were a few problems I had with the jeans. I'd have sent them back if there were any other jean this color and size. When you bend over, the back shows the crack. I wear a size 24 and they aren't as fitted as the picture. I assumed by the picture that they were going to be a tighter fit, not tight... just tighter. They fit me like a relaxed-fit jean or a classic-fit. I am incredibly happy with the color anyway. No front pockets.. where do I put my cell phone?!

I received these pants yesterday and I must say, the fit is right on! I am 5'4" and I think that the length is fine as you do want some ruching at the bottom with your heels but not too much that they look sloppy and they fill the bill perfectly. They are very comfortable and the color is perfect! If you want to try the new trend of the colored jean, this would be a good starter pair as they are more of a plum to me than a purple but they can act as a focal with dark accessories or act as an anchor piece for a colorful top and wild accessories. These jeans can be for the stylish mature woman or the stylish free spirited young lady! You have got to have this jean in your wardrobe!

Great Color for Spring!

I was hesitant at first about purchasing these, but I'm so glad I did. They are super comfortable and the fit is great. I especially love the purple color, its more of a dark plum. I've read the other reviews about the length, and while they are longer, I use that to my advantage, to create a ruched effect at my ankles. I received many compliments the first time I wore these. And they are spot on for the colored bottoms trend for spring.

not worth a hundred big ones

these are a really nice color and thats why they caught my attention. Its not at all a barney type of purple, and this is coming from someone who only wears black or demin on the bottom lol. I'm 5'8 and the length was good on me, but there was a lot of room in the legs that i didnt care for. if they were cheaper i would have bought them and wore tights under them to kinda smooth over and fill them out but at 98.00 they should fit perfectly! If i went a size down the waist would have been too tight.

Disappointing...

I had such high hopes for these, but they didn't pan out at all. The color is really pretty, but that's the only thing that I liked. The fit is a LOT more loose than the picture shows, so not a jegging at all. More of a skinny jean or straight leg tapered jean. They are really long, so they bunched up at the bottom, and I'm 5'8''. Overall, I usually really like the DKNY items from LB, but these were a miss, and are being returned. Bummer...
