A great light jacket
Date:May 24, 2012
Pros: Style, Fit, Comfort
Cons: length
This light jacket has held up great after being worn almost every day for the past few weeks. I ordered it in a 14/16 and it fits my 40DDD bust snugly, but I can zip it up with ease and there's no stretch across my chest. It has high cotton content so I expect it will shrink up a little more with more washing, and I'm okay with this since it's fairly loose but with a cut to follow your curves.
The front and back are shorter; front comes mid-fly on my jeans and the back covers nearly my whole butt. The sides, however, come all the way down to mid-thigh. I'm glad I'm 5'1", though, because my belly would be center stage if my torso were any longer. It loses one star for the lack of frontal length since with any tugging from my purse it still basically forms an arch around my lower belly. Not flattering.
The perfectly thin material does a great job in my freezing cold office, while still being wearable in high-70s sunshine with no problem. I wouldn't, however, recommend wearing it in the rain. You'll feel every drop! Brrr.
It's very versatile, and I love that the style cuts down on that gym-sweats look that most grey sweatshirts seem to have.
