I was a little skeptical at first about ordering this skirt based on the reviews concerning the fit. I'm 5'1 1/2" and wear a 14/16 and I'm extremely curvy. So I wasn't sure how this would look throughout the thigh and butt area. I'm so glad I gave this skirt a try! It is absolutely wonderful! The 14 fit was perfect for me! I have a small waist so I think that's why. If you have a larger waist, or if your waist is proportion to your size (mine isn't), then I would recommend going up a size. The cut in the waist is a little smaller than normal and I'm guessing it's because it's a A-line cut, which would be a little slimmer throughout the waist.

Sweet little skirt

I have this in my normal size, the fit is very nice. This material seems to have just a wee bit of stretch so it fits better in the waist for me than last years styles.
I love the length just above knee & the print is pretty, only pockets could have enhanced the skirt.
With all the colours on this skirt, you will have many shirt options too. Very summery subdued hues

Great pattern, but tight!

I fall into a size 18/20 bottom so I tried on the size 18 and struggled just to get it to hook and zip. If I had to sit down this would have been a disaster.
This fabric has no give and the waist band has no elastic to help with movement. I would have to purchase the size 20 just to sit or stand comfortably in this skirt. It is best to size up or at least try it on before purchasing to see which works best for your shape.
The fabric is nice and hits just about knee level (5' 11") and is not see through.

I just purchased this today at the store and was pleasantly surprised when I put it on! I typically wear a size 24 on the bottom and this skirt fit perfectly! I love where the hemline falls on this skirt, just below the knees (I am 5'10") This skirt was definitely more lovely in person than on the web and I love that there are so many colors that would coordinate well. I bought a black cami and the darker purple cardigan to wear with it.
