Pros: Fit, Comfort
I like this skirt, the strechy top makes for a comfey fit. I am 6'2" and it comes right above my knees that makes me happy because most skirts are too short for me.
The minute I saw this denim skirt I knew it would be imensly practical. The length, the stretch waist, the pockets, and I haven't had a denim skirt in so long this looked perfect. I'm usually a size 18/20, with a 20 more common for pants/shorts. I saw this ran large, so I ordered the 18. It was still way to big. Took it back and reordered the 16. 16 fits nicely, but it still a little big in the hips (and I'm pear shaped and my hips are usually the problem). I am keeping the 16, but I feel like with this cut I could wear a 14.
So I love this skirt, but when you order, order WAY DOWN in size!

Review 4 for Button front denim skirt
WAY way to big
Date:July 24, 2012
Pros: Style, Comfort
I seen this skirt in the store and absolutely loved it. It was so cute and perfect with a cute summer top. But it was more than I was willing to spend, after I found a coupon code online I was able to purchase it, I was so excited. It arrived today and when I tried it on, it was so big it was almost shapeless. I normally wear a size 20 shorts so I thought that a 20 may be a little big but not big enough to matter. But when it got here it was HUGE. I went to the LB store this afternoon and tried on an 18, 16 and then finally the 14 fit without feeling like I was being swallowed whole. I like it much better now, but I am still in complete shock over the horrible sizing. If you buy it, buy in the store where you can try it on before you waste your time.
When I first saw this skirt online I thought maybe it a little old ladyish. Well when I went to the store and tried it on I love it. I also love the fact that I went down 2 sizes. This skirt would look good with layered camis and cute sandals and a big moma bag to pull it together!
Why, yes, you can! I lusted after this skirt for a little while when it showed up online. I finally got it last night and it's so super cute. It runs a little large thanks to the very forgiving smocked waist. The length should work well for most. It was a tiny bit above knee height on me at 5'10" but can be worn higher or lower depending on your build. The a-line cut works well on my straighter hips. The denim is a middle weight so it will work well in at least 3 seasons with the right layers and accessories. I adore that this skirt has deep pockets that don't add volume to the hips or make pooches down my sides. I like the details of the stitching, wide hem, smocking and buttons down the front (you'll never have to use them since the skirt slips on so easily). This is such a wonderful skirt!
