I am a big girl, so basically I have to wear some type of shapewear to "minimize" my bulging tummy. OK, there is nothing that can do that, but I needed something to wear under a maxidress in the summer so that my legs wouldn't stick together. I also needed something to "smooth out" the bulges, but given a girl has to go to the bathroom, I wanted something that I could easily pull down and up. These did the trick! Pull down, pull up, off you go! Walking around on a warm summer day without chafing! These are PERFECT for what I needed, but NO...they won't make you look thinner because clearly, that's not what they are designed for. Ordering two more pair!

Not what I expected!

Cons: didn't accomplish what they are made for, clothing doesn't fit smoothly because of rolling
This is the first Lane Bryant shapewear that I was unhappy with. 2 minutes after putting them on they started rolling down my back. I had to pull them up and tuck them under my bra to keep them up. After 4 hours the legs rolled up too. Very unhappy with this purchase.

These have no support- not sure why they are called shapewear- they don't shape anything! It doesn't hold anything in- not a fan of Spanx- but these are not even close- very comfortable because they have no support

Ok first off I'm a big girl (size 26) but im very proportional for my size and i ijust a little extra support in the belly area.. I have always wanted some spanx and today i went into the store to pick up some packages and decided to give them a look since im getting married in a few months!
Well the lady who helped me was simply amazing! She got me the right size of spanx and i went to try them on.... it was horrible and if i pulled any more i was afraid i wouldnt be able to get them off or that it would rip.
so that was a no go. so then she suggested these ones and i was pretty skeptical about it but she assured me it would be ok,
not only was it ok but it did exactly what i wanted it to do and didnt hurt at all but is something i could wear all day long.
only bad thing is in size 26/28 it isnt made in the mocha. and hopfully black will be ok under my wedding dress!!!

AMAZING Shapewear

Just ordered these shapewear shorts and I am so thrilled.!!! I will definitely be ordering several more pairs ASAP.
First & foremost, the price was right. The material is thick (read: well-made), but not bulky. The picture had me worried at first that the material would be that thin nylon (which, I hate - it always rips and it's super uncomfortable!). These are not that. They're easy to get on (don't worry, ladies - you won't break a sweat squeezing into them in the morning, or dread going to the bathroom in the middle of the day because you'll have to pull them down and then huff & puff in the stall). They fit true to size, and are comfortable to wear throughout the day. They also don't make that inconspicuous "swish" noise when you walk...as if you need the world to know you're wearing Spanx.
Definitely give these an enthusiastic two thumbs-up. If you're in need of everyday shapewear to wear underneath your dresses, look no further! You will not be disappointed.
