Stylish Jeans, But Could Be Skinnier

I was so happy to receive these jeans and love every detail. The dark wash color has a few pops of lighter shading which, along with the yellow stitching on the back pockets, will make them a fun addition to my spring wardrobe. I normally don't like "whiskering" of any kind on my jeans but in this case it adds a nice little "extra" that looks good and is flattering. The length is great for waaring with either flats or heels (I'm around 5'7") .
Unfortunately the width of the leg is somewhere between a skinny jean and a straight leg. so these jeans do not look quite right tucked into riding boots or booties where a closer fit is needed. I don't have thin legs so I think these are just too wide to be called a skinny jean, especially with the bit of extra stretch that occurs during wear. This has had an impact on how I wear them, but overall, they are a nice addition to my wardrobe.
