I saw this skirt in the store and had to try it on. I really loved it! The pattern (as others have mentioned) is not in your face and this skirt is suitable for an office setting. It is a simple black skirt with some tone-on-tone pattern detail. The negatives are that the threads in this skirt "fuzz" up really easily (so I have a fuzzy spot where my seatbelt buckles), and it is currently sitting in a pile to go to my tailor because the hem fell out after I wore it a couple of times. I'm 5'3" and this skirt is the perfect length for me--just below my knees and fits pretty true-to-size.

Cons: lining shows when i sit.
This skirt is very comfortable. I received more compliments on it than any other skirt I've purchased from LB. I was told it made me look "more sexy." Maybe I'll wear it everyday ;-)

The skirt in the picture is hot! It looks Like leather or python! The skirt I received is neither. It looks like lace !!! The cut is totally different. It is much shorter and I am not tall! The cut is off! I want the skirt in the picture!!!!

Don't let the picture online fool you. I tend to be a classic dresser and don't usually look twice at this kind of piece, but I saw it on display in the store and liked it enough to try it on. I am so glad that I did! It is a nice black skirt and the python pattern overlay is not noticeable enough that it makes it look like the picture at all. It is not shiny, it is matte and the lace pattern overlay is classy looking, not trendy. I can wear it as I would a regular black pencil skirt , but it just has a little more texture to make it more interesting. It will be appropriate in a professional setting. Also, the stretch makes it more comfortable. I found that it fit true to size. My only concern is pulling the overlay (as another reviewer pointed out) so I plan to treat it carefully. But I think it will be a great piece that I can wear for a long time.

Python and Reptile Skirts

I ordered the reptile print skirt online and when it came in the cut was very strange. It was a bit shorter than I expected, and the outer fabric and liner are two different stretchy materials. The liner is stretchier than the outer fabric....so the outer fabric puckered and messed up the shape and lines of the germent. When I went into the store I tried on this python skirt (exact same cut). I went down a size and up a size...and still the same problem!
LB skirts have always fit me very well, but this one isn't a winner because of the fabric. :(
Disappointed because I LOVED the print on both of these skirts!

Cons: could snag threads if not careful
I just bought this skirt last night and I love, love, love it! It's beautiful , comfortable and fits true to size. The only downside is that you have to be extremely careful not to snag the little threads that make the python pattern in the material. I also plan to wash this in a lingerie bag to be on the safe side.
