Awful
Date:April 14, 2013
Cons: Fit, Comfort
I agree with the other reviewers. I really like the other types of LB leggings and tights, so I ordered these in both brown and black. They were like a really bad pair of panty hose. The waistband didn't stay up while just trying them on. They quickly rolled down to below my crotch within seconds. Returned both pairs immediately. Should have trusted the reviews I saw!

They're not leggings, they're footless tights
Date:February 27, 2013
Pros: fleece-type lining
Cons: Fit, Item not as described, Style, Comfort
1. They are nice and soft on the inside, yet you can still see through them. That makes these tights and NOT leggings.
2. The seaming in the crotch area also makes these look like tights, which means you better wear a skirt with them or you'll look like you're running around half naked.
3. The waist is nonexistent. I mean fall-down nonexistent.
My first purchase at Lane Bryant and it will definitely make me wary of future purchases.

Waste of my money!
Date:February 26, 2013
Cons: Style, Fit, Comfort
These are horrible! They were designed poorly (crotch style spoken of in other reviews) and are too large at the waist so THEY FALL DOWN. Not great when you're wearing a skirt! You'd have to design some sort of suspenders contraption to keep them up! I bought a black and brown set thinking they'd be as great as the regular leggings. WRONG.

Just insanely awful
Date:February 13, 2013
Cons: Style, Fit, Comfort
I can't even imagine what Lane Bryant was thinking when they designed these. Normally pants are made of two tubes sewn together at the crotch. As far as I know this has been pretty standard pants construction for quite some time. LB decided that they would insert a panel in between the two tubes. I've seen this on occasion in tights, but it's usually a wedge in the back tapering to the center seam in the front. These leggings have a panel that goes front to back making the whole pant look like the bottom portion of a letter H. Because the seams don't stretch there is no way to get these on comfortably. I guess they'd be great for you if you have a crotch that's six inches wide, but otherwise skip them because they're ridiculous.

What woman was used as the sizing model?!
Date:February 2, 2013
Pros: concept of fleece lining
Cons: Fit, Comfort
I just wanted a layer to wear under my jeans on a cold day. I am a solid 20 bottom and a pear shape. Normally, I order an A/B, but I ordered the C/D size since I wasn't using them to hold me in. It took a long time to get these over my thighs. The top was so oversized after I got it past my thighs, I could fit a soccer ball. Did they model these on a woman with chicken legs?

Horrible!
Date:January 27, 2013
Cons: Fit, Style, Comfort, Item not as described
Are these made for super skinny people. Very hard to get on. Legs just go straight down - no room for thighs. Back of the waist wants to ride down. Very uncomfortable. Gets holes in them very easily. I do not recommend.

Bad fit
Date:January 19, 2013
Pros: Style
Cons: Fit, Comfort
These would be ok but they have a terrible fit. The stomach area is super-large, even for me. The legs are super-tight and small. I made the mistake of washing them before I tried them and I can't take them back now. They are a waste of money.

Worsf leggings ever
Date:January 12, 2013
Cons: Fit, Comfort
Even the C/D size didn't fit and I normally wear a size 14 to 16 . These leggings barely for my calves much less any other part of my body. I was so disappointed! Thankfully I kept my receipt. Who are these leggings made for though? if the larger size won't fit a size 14 how is this being sold at a store for real sized women ?

A waste of money
Date:December 22, 2012
Cons: Item not as described
I had wanted to try a pair of these fleece leggings. I agree with the others, they are horrible. Unfortunately I thought they would fit like the other leggings I have gotten from LB and threw the receipt away. The first day I wore them, they kept working their way down and pretty soon they were at my thighs...thank goodness I had on a long sweater or I would have exposed body parts that were not meant to be seen. Save your money and buy these elsewhere

Horrible!
Date:November 26, 2012
Cons: Fit, Comfort
After reading these reviews, I must say I'm glad I'm not the only one! These leggings were the worst and I was so disappointed. I'm 4'11 and 210 lbs. so I bought the A/B size. I couldn't even get them over my knees comfortably. With that said, I wasn't able to see if they would stay up or anything else that would normally be important in buying leggings. I have to ask the same question that most of the other reviewers asked, just who were these leggings made for?

LB dropped the ball on these
Date:November 25, 2012
Cons: Fit, indiscreet seams at crotch, underwear show-through
I came to check reviews after trying these on when I got home from the store, to see if I was crazy. I never have issues with pants being too tight in the thigh, it's always in the hip area because the back is flatter than the front. But as I'm pulling them up, the waist could probably be stretched up over your head, but once you reach your knees, the leg stops stretching. I got them on but they feel really awkward due to the seam running up each cheek (think tights for preschoolers). And like another reviewer said, these are footless TIGHTS, not leggings. The giant gusset is how they cover a 100lb range in two sizes. They would be inappropriate to wear if your rear isn't completely covered when bent over. I thought they would go with the tunic sweater I picked up. I'm undecided whether to bother returning them since I got them on sale or to hang on to them for under pants.
"Leggings" for curvy figures MUST have the thigh cut a little wider than the ankle. These are basically two tubes leading up to a gigantic butt.

These poor leggings! The first time I wore them, I had to SCRUB the black off my legs at the end of the day (1st strike!) and later found that they discolored my nails because I was pulling on the them readjust them (2nd strike!). I washed them and wanted to try them again and while I moved around they kept sliding off my bum and I kept having to pull on them again... and yes, even after washing them... they discolored my nails and my legs. (3rd Strike!). I'm scared to put them on again!

I Must be the Minority!
Date:November 20, 2012
Pros: Style, Comfort
Cons: Fit
I haven't ever written a review in my life, but I felt it necessary to add one here for these tights. I am wearing them right now and came online to order a second pair. I own so many different pairs of leggings and wear them just about every day. And I really like these ones!!
I am 5'4" and 205 pounds. I'm an apple shape and a runner. So my legs are muscular and round while my stomach is quite large. Yes, the top of these tights are odd. At first I was pulling them up in the rear quite a bit. It seemed to me that the front of the leggings came up much higher than in the back. I ended up realizing that the front was higher on my thighs though, and after some adjusting, I got the backs of the thighs higher and the seat stays up now. (And I have a pretty big one!) All of the reviewers say that they don't know who the heck these leggings were designed for. Well, I guess that would be me!
They are super comfy and I've been doing chores around the house in them all day. I love that they can be dressed down for around the house, but instantly be glam for a night out. And they are so soft! My husband loves them. He's always looking for the perfect legging on me, and these seem to be the ones. =)
In all fairness, since starting to run, my weight has dropped 40 pounds and I'm barely able to fit in Lane Bryant clothing anymore. I don't know how these would have fit me 6 months ago. Maybe I would be having the same problems as everyone else! But I just wanted to give an alternative review for those that are thinking about buying them.

Falls down
Date:November 19, 2012
After wearing these leggings for 15 minutes, they fell down. There is no elastic in the top to keep them up! So disappointed. I have never written a review before, but these just had to be written about. The inside was so soft and felt nice, just can't keep them up. I hope that I will be able to return them.

Awful fit
Date:November 17, 2012
Cons: Fit, Style, Comfort, worst fitting
So disappointed. Not sure who these are made for. The top is huge fits like a diaper. I had to pin them to my bra because when I walked they fell off my bottom. I have other leggings that have fit the same way. They would have been great and warm for the winter loved the fleece. You need to change the fit the legs were tight but the top was huge. I am a frequent customer and leggins are not a good fit.

Whose legs are these made for?
Date:November 13, 2012
Pros: Style
Cons: Fit, small thighs, odd seams
I carry the majority of my weight in my lower tummy and hips - I have BIG hips compared to my legs and my upper body. You would think if anything wouldnt fit correctly, it would be the hip area, right?
Nope. I don't know who these leggings are proportioned for, frankly. I'm 5'4 size 18/20 but bought the size C/D just to be sure they were long enough - my legs are pretty long and slim compared to the rest of me and any pants I buy to fit my hips usually are baggy through the thigh and leg.
Not with these leggings. They fit just fine through the hips (though they are a bit short waisted), the waist is actually a bit loose.. but the thighs? The thighs are SO TIGHT! And I sized up! The seams squeeze my upper thighs in a really unattractive manner - I have to fight to pull them up and they just barely fit.. not comfy or flattering. I'm not sure WHO these leggings would fit seeing as I sized up and don't even have big thighs.
A shame, because they are cute and the fleece is SO comfy and warm without feeling heavy. If they can fix the strange thigh sizing, these would be a winner.

Horrible fit, but are warm
Date:November 7, 2012
Pros: warm
Cons: Fit, Style, Comfort
The tops of these leggings do not fit like normal leggings. There is no seam on the leg portion themselves,. The seam is at the top where one piece of material has both legs connected to it.. This makes the top portion of the leggings difficult and awkward to pull up. After all the work to pull the leggings up, they then fall down after walking 5 steps. This may be worth it if you're wearing them under pants while snowboarding, but as normal leggings under a skirt/dress NO.

Ill fitting
Date:October 28, 2012
Pros: warm
Cons: Fit
I am between sizes so I went with the C/D fit. They are way too small in the leg but too big in the waist and fell down the entire day. I will be returning these to the store.
If they didn't have the weird leg/crotch intersection seams they would be pretty awesome.
