Cute, but not quality

I have had the coat for 15 days of daily city wear and I am starting to see stray strings. Also the metal latch is loose . The coat looks awesome on, but I don't see this coat lasting more then one season.

So close...and yet, so far.

Super adorable coat! I love the fit, and I got TONS of compliments from very stylish people. Even though it fit perfectly, and had some room to spare, the middle clasp broke within 2 weeks. The casing around the button hole frayed and the metal fell off the coat.
I am so bummed. I loved my new coat, but I had to return it.

I LOVE this coat. I cannot even tell you how many compliments I have gotten on it since I started wearing it! Very stylish and very comfortable. I ordered a size up from what I normally wear in tops so that if I wore a heavy sweater or sweatshirt it would still fit comfortably.
It was good through the end of fall, but now that it is starting to get colder out it doesn't seem to keep me very warm as the lining and fabric are pretty thin.
I don't think I would pay full price for this coat since it isn't very heavy, but I got it at a 50% off sale and that was definitely reasonable for what you get.
I will echo someone else's comment though that one of the toggle closures has already fallen off. I am extremely disappointed because I LOVE the coat otherwise but since the toggles are the only way to really keep the coat closed and there is no way to fix them so now I'm not really sure what to do since it has basically rendered the coat useless.

I generally love this coat, but the band around the waist prevents it from having much give, so even though I ordered it in the size I wear for my tops and even though I am able to button it all the way up, it doesn't close and button as loosely as I would like. It might be hard to button up if you are wearing something bulky.
I love the look; the length of the coat; the sleeves are a great length too. I love the feel and I even love the silver buttons themselves being the kind you turn, but I can't put this coat on, button it up then sit in my car and drive as easily I should be able to. I suspect buying this coat a size up would make it too big everywhere but in the middle where the band is. Thank goodness I am busy losing weight right now so this can only fit better.
They had the black version in the store (not the houndstooth) so if you like this coat, I would recommend trying on whatever is in the store to make sure you are good with the fit first.

Amazing coat but falling apart after 2 weeks

This coat fits perfect, true to size and is very comfortable.
BUT, I have had it 2 weeks and the closure has snapped off and both pockets have ripped.

I bought this today and love the fit and style. At 5'2", I often find coats to be long through the sleeves, but this hit just right. The fit ran true to size through the chest and shoulders, but it would probably be a bit snug with a sweater. You may want to go up a size if you plan to wear it with heavy clothes. For reference, I bought this in the same size I normally would a t-shirt at lanebryant. nThe style is adorable, the weight is good. My only concern was a small amount of fraying on the inside of a couple of the clasps, but I believe it will wear okay.
