Too high in the waist...

I'm an apple-shaped girl and I'm approximately 5'2" tall. These shorts did NOT fit me well at all. I was very excited to get them in the mail, but when I pulled them on, the waist hit right under my bra. I liked the inseam length, and the color. The fabric felt a bit cheap for a $50+ pair of shorts, but I did like that they were thin, which would have been nice for summer. I'm really sad the waist was just way too high for me. I'm sending them back.
