Thick girls aren't pencils

So I should have known that if I am not shaped like a pencil, a pencil skirt wouldn't look right, but sometimes that rule in fashion doesn't ring true. This time, though, it does. I am biggest in my hips, stomach, and butt and I am also only 5'1. First, I had to pull the skirt all the way up under my chest for it to fit right and zipper. I got it in the same size as the rest of my LB skirts too. The skirt was too tight on my butt and hips. Unfortunately, wasn't a good look. If you are taller or more slender in your legs and bigger up top, this could definitely work for you..

I had to check the size a couple of times

The print on this skirt is very cute, however, the fit is horrible. I ordered my normal size and couldn't get the skirt fastened or zipped up all the way. I kept checking the tag to see if I had ordered it in a size too small. I'm going to size up and see if that helps, but this was still a disappointing purchase. There was little size consistency in the clothes I bought this time around.

If this skirt had spandex it would be awesome...I really love the patterns and the colors great look but not my fit:-(
