Finally! Leather flats!
Date:October 15, 2014
Pros: Style, Comfort
Cons: a tad too narrow in the toe area
I'm so excited they are finally selling LEATHER shoes! I've spent a fortune on 40 dollar shoes that, if they are cute, I will buy a couple of pairs a season because I will wear them out.
I have three pairs of these, the brown, the fauna and the leopard. The leopard ones are a bit tighter in the toe. I think they are a tad on the small size in the toe area due to the style but it's not a deal breaker for me. I'll be buying a few more pairs.

Cute --- Until....Ouch!
Date:October 4, 2014
I was so excited to find a leather flat in my size 12 this year. I purchased all 5 colors (except the azurite) and the gianna hair calf print during the real women dollars event. There was a 40% off code that could be used for a single purchase as well.
The shoes are very nicely packaged (black, sturdy shoe box) unlike the regular flats. When opening up the box I was overcome with the smell of yummy leather. I will say that the black is very rich and matte in color which is an improvement from the 'faded black' look of the traditional LB flats. The midnight rose looked a bit faded at the toe, but it is still beautiful.
The style and quality (durable sole) cannot be better. The width is also fine, however, it was simply too tight at both my pinky toes where the shoe angles into a point. Understanding there is a reasonable break-in period, it was still much to uncomfortable until about the 4th day wearing them. Even still I cringe at slipping them on. I've had quality issues with LB flats but never were they uncomfortable as these were.
Since I got a good deal (not to mention cute, quality 12s are rare) I'm going to buy some stretching leather spray and make it work. If you're below a 12 size up and you should be good. If you're a true LB 12 in flats I would pass unless you're willing to worth with them.
