This wired bra is so comfortable. I love it. No pulling and no pinching. Smooths the back and front, nicely. Looks great under all my clothes. I will definitely be buying more of this bra!

Hello, everyone. I decided to take my time to write a review for this product because I am amazed at the difference I saw. My bra size had increased but I wasn't sure to what. I realized after re-measuring I actually had gone up a cup size. I ordered this bra 5 days ago and as guaranteed, it only took 4-8 days to arrive. I opened the box and the material is beautiful. I put it on and literally fell in love! I put on a T-Shirt I usually wear to test it out and it look s like I just lost 10 lbs. on my back; it literally does WONDERS for your posture and your back . I am in love with this and So glad I got. Partly because I took the time to read the reviews because bra shopping is NOT easy. And I hope MY review can help someone like others helped me!! thank you ^__^

I cannot sing the praises of this bra enough.
While it looks rather bland and unattractive by itself it does exactly what a bra SHOULD do, it looks amazing under clothes. Even my closest fitting gray ( and you know how gray can look) t shirt looks smooth and line free when I wear this bra. I would gladly trade all my "Pretty " bras for an army of these!
The quality is amazing ( one that I wear around the house is going on 4 years old).
Please NEVER stop making this bra!

I love these bra's but can not seem to find my size 40D online or at the stores. I hope it is not being discontinued. I check here at least once week. Its the best bra to actually hide back fat!!

I wash my bras but don't dry them so they will last longer. This is all I own. They help cover back fat and I like the lift.

They changed the style of my favorite bra. The cups are smaller and the backs are wider with very little support. LB stop changing things that work. Do not buy!!!

Not what I thought it was

I wear the back-smoothing bras with the molded cup, and I love them. So when I saw these I thought why not give it a try. Well thank goodness I shipped them to my local store because when I tried on my 40DDD it looked like I was trying to squish the girls into a C cup. Luckily the ladies at the store were really helpful and swapped me out on the spot. Turns out the fit on the molded cup back smoothers is TOTALLY different, and not at all interchangeable... at least not for me.

The perfect shaping and smooothing bra

The is one of my favorite bras from LB. It's very supportive with very minimal padding but just enough to feel covered. The sides and back are smooth and fit closely to the body to smooth out any imperfections.

Best Smooth Style in Cacique

Over several years LB has gone to bras with EXTREME foam padding! Definately NOT my choice in a bra for a very full figured woman! So this smooth back style is reminiscent of the prior styles LB used to carry. I've noticed with all of the excess padded bras the shape distorts after washings and your breasts are not held well in them for active lifestyle, and I won't even go into the new "sports bras" w/ foam support padding...UGH!
WHO is advising LB on theses styles???? Yuck
SO this plus the lace full coverage are actually the only versions now from LB that I consider purchasing.

This bra is hands down my favorite bra! EVER! It fits great, is very flattering, holds up the "girls". They are even making it in a print now!! I am not changing my bra style until they discontinue this style. I have replaced all my bras with this one. Yep! You read right, all of them! The pink is pretty, the beige is beige, but the sugar is my favorite! So elegant looking. It is the color of a candlelight wedding dress. beautiful!! I love these bras!!! I am a sz. 40D for reference. You will not be disappointed!

Most comfortable bra ever!

I've always been a large chested girl, and by large, I mean a 40/42 G/H cup. I've always had problems with bras digging or being uncomfortable after a few hours of wear.
PROS: This bra is so comfortable, I can wear it for hours without any problems, I've even slept in it without it being painful!
In addition to being supper comfy, it looks really nice under a majority of my clothes.
The underwire fits perfectly against my sternum, like a great bra should, and the girls are still firmly in place, even though its not padded.
It also has a hidden talent of being somewhat of a minimizer; I'm a really busty gal, so its a relief to get a break from being super busty all the time.
CONS:
In addition to the hidden minimizing effect; it also sets my breasts a lot wider than I'm used to. It's not a huge problem, I've just never had that happen with a bra before.
The material is really satin-y, so the straps need the be readjusted a lot; I actually stitched my adjustable slider in place, so it would stop slipping.
Its also not available in a lot of 'fun' patterns or colors. Big bummer!

The worst CON ever, however, is that I CANNOT machine wash them! I've never had as many problems washing bras, as I have with this style. I never dry my bras in the dryer; but I wash all my bras in the washer on the fancy 'delicates' cycle. I've had a few mishaps very, very occasionally with other Cacique bras, but every one of the FOUR bras I bought in this style has had the underwire pop out in the wash. EVERY ONE! Thank goodness I could sew them back in. I've never experienced anything like it, with all FOUR bras.
ALL IN ALL: The comfort of this basic bra cannot be matched! Does it disappoint me occasionally? Yes. Have I had to tailor it/repair it? Yes Do I wish it came in better colors? Yes. Do I wish it were more durable? Heck yes! Can I wear it everyday for at least 15 hours without a problem? Yes.
And that, my fellow shoppers is the best part. It's a great basic bra that isn't a 'grandma style' cone bra, that I can wear all the time, that still supports me well and fits amazingly.

The straps on this bra do not stay on my shoulders no matter how tight I make them. They slip down my arms as soon as I put the thing on, and all day I need to constantly pull them back up - it's miserable. I am broad shouldered, so this problem would likely be even worse for those with narrower shoulders. The "back-smoothing" technology does not seem to do anything. Not the usual fit comfort and style that I've come to expect from Cacique.

I have a love/hate relationship with this bra. Psychologically, I love the back smoothing effect. However...when you first get the bra, it feels tight and rides up, but is quick to stretch out and be too big, which also makes it ride up, defeating the effect. Also, my boobs quickly slide out of the cup, underneath. Even just raising my arms can do it. I've gone through at least four of these, and finally quit trying to make it work. Honestly, the classic balconette is the best. Supported, lifted, separated, and if I wear it a little lower on my back, there is no back lumps and creates a smooth hour glass shape.

When the bra is new, it fits great. Over a few months the material stretches out and the bra becomes too big. Ive bought this bra a couple times and the same thing keeps happening. I start out with a 38D and over time it stretches out to a 40D and is too big. I find Lane Bryant items are so expensive and poor quality over time. They don't handle wash and wear very well.

This is the most comfortable bra that I own. The extra material smooths the back and adds extra support. They may not be the best for a low cut shirt, but that's why we have our plunge bras! I buy more every year, and I've had no problem with wear and tear...they hold up very nicely. And again, so comfortable!
