I recently lost a lot of weight (finally) and was disappointed with not being able to find a bra that could take what I have and rearrange it to look good. My sister told me to try Cacique. I went to the store and was blown away by the selection. While I've bought a couple other Cacique styles and love them too, I'm totally sold on the Smooth Balconette for everyday wear. I never expected to find a bra that fit this well and makes me look so amazing in my clothes! It takes everything that's moved down and to the sides and places it front and center. And it's so unbelievably comfortable, that a couple of times I've forgotten I had it on and slept in it! Ok, THAT'S never happened before! Priceless!

I have been a full figured girl all of my life and THE hardest purchase for me was always a bra. Either the band size did not go up high enough or the straps were too thin, the design was ugly, etc. And if I wanted to buy something sexy, well, I could just forget about it. To make matters worse, even if I bought a new bra from the same maker just a few months later it seemed they never fit the same. And then, I found Cacique. I love how they have different styles for different figures, they realize even among us full figured gals we are not all built the same. For me, finding the Balconette was a miracle!. It supports me exactly where I need it, with not too much padding and they last for a long time. Not only that but they come in a variety of sexy colors and prints. Lastly, I can feel confident ordering it online because I KNOW it will fit when it comes, they always do. I highly recommend this brand and style and have even helped a couple of other women find the joy of the Cacique Balconette! Thanks Cacique!

I absolutely LOVE these bras. I am a petite plus and it is very hard to find a bra in my size that does not swallow the entire upper half of my body. These fit perfectly! The straps don't dig into my shoulders, the band is wide enough and has enough hooks to stay straight and smooth across my back. The support is amazing and the smooth fabric works with anything I wear. I have these in every color I can get ahold of as they look great with tanks. The strap is wide enough to look like it's just another tank layered and not your bra strap hanging out. If all that wasn't enough the value is incredible. At $34-$42 they are some of the cheapest out there for this size range and quality and if you're a frequent LaneBryant shopper you can get coupons through the mail and online along with their regular sales. I've managed to get these for less than $20 everytime I shop. It's fantastic! I recently had a friend try a shirt on that she just loved but it didn't look right. I told her it was because her breasts were in the wrong spot, she didn't believe me so I made her try the top on with my bra (we wear the same size). She was amazed and bought the top then went immediately to LB and bought 4 bras. She was so excited to go through her closet and try on all the shirts she hadn't been wearing because of her bra issues. It was like a whole new wardrobe :) LOL The right bra makes everything look and feel better and there's NOTHING better than looking your best and feeling great about yourself.

This is one of the very few bras that i have found that fit well on a shorter person. It doesn't cut under the arms.

The balconette is comfortable and supportive, without losing points in style. Any other bra that offers this much support usually looks like a grandma bra. They are also so much more well made than any other bra I've ever worn, and for about the same price.
The only down side is my dog likes to eat them! Must be the material used because he only takes these!

I am 6' tall, 150 pounds size 34D bra. BUT I have searched for years to find comfortable support. I bought this bra online in a 36 D after discovering it in Lane Bryant's store at the mall. The stores carry 38" and up. Online has 36" bras.
Once I hit the house in the evening, it is time to shed my shifting, binding bra. The first day I wore this and since, I forget I am wearing a bra. It is awesome! Finally comfort and support!

The smooth balconette bra is my go to bra. It is very comfortable and looks good under most clothing. I find this bra can be a great friend for a chesty girl who isn't looking for the deep cleavage that comes from the plunge bras. It's also cut lower than the full coverage bras. I really like the different patterns and colors that you can get.

I have 2 other bras from that particular bra and love the fit. The patterns are fun but can be a little revealing with some of my lighter tops. For that problem, I wear the nude or honey colors. Really like the fit and comfort.

Every woman needs a good bra and this brand is by far the best I have ever bought in total i own about 20 of this style in many colors. It gives great support especially for large breasted women such as myself. When they have a sale I'm the first to get as many as possible lasts up to 2 years

This is a very nice, comfortable bra and I don't "fall out" of it. The only negative comment is the band side runs small. I measure 39" and had to get size 42 instead of 40. Cup size is true.

So far, so good. I love the fit and it has good support. My biggest problem with bras is wires poking through after a short amount of time....first couple of months. This is my favorite style of the 4 or 5 I've tried from Lane Bryant and it seems to hold up better. It doesn't put all of the weight on my shoulders...and I love the fashion colors. I have recommended it to others who have large breasts and need support. I would have given it all 5's, but no bra is 100% comfortable...just the nature of the beast!

The smooth balconette bra might just be -THE- best bra ever. The material is so very soft and smooth against the skin. The cup sizes are exactly to size, no overspilling. Ladies with larger cleavage know what I mean by overspill! The extra wide straps and four hook closure provide a stable, solid, yet comfortable support.
I wear this bra under a wide variety of tops and it never disappoints. With its smooth lines and no show cup you can be certain not to have that bump under even the most form fitting dresses or blouses. It's great for t-shirts, too! My only recommendation is with the bolder colors and patterns, try a cami or a tank with the more sheer tops and blouses.
If you haven't given this bra a try I would highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed!

This bra is terrible. No lift or shaping. It also seems to work as a minimizer, squishing my breasts flat to my chest. Worst of all - it's engineered terribly - the support seems to rest mostly on the shoulder straps and not on the band and cups, where it should be. The cups are also too soft, allowing for too much movement. I bought this item online, after getting sized in a store - as the store did not have my size (surprise, surprise). It is very comfortable, which is great, but I am not looking for a comfy bra. It just seems like this bra style was brought back as a concession to people who don't want to wear a real bra.

I really love how the smooth balconette bra has wide support bands because it doesn't create any back buldges in unwanted areas or highlight the back area . A lot of times, I would have to keep pulling my bra down throughout the day because of rolls appearing that looked so unfaltering. Again I wish all patterns and colors options were in my size all the time! :)

This is another bra that I love! I really like the balconette style. It gives me uplifting support and the LOOK that I like, but I don't have to worry about pushing my boobs back down because there is not enough coverage. I used to wear the t-shirt bra, but I felt too exposed and like I had to constantly "put myself away". This bra has a similar look, but doesn't show as much. I look less jiggly in the balconette bra, and I LOVE it!
