This is a great bra. But it has a "push up" effect, so, maybe a cup size up would help a bit to prevent spillage.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this bra! Through reading the reviews before I ordered I knew it ran about a size small, so I ordered one size bigger and it fits amazingly! I got the deep purple paisley, which is gorgeous, I think I am going to order another during this bogo sale!

I love the balconette bras. However, the cushion comfort balconette does not run true to size. With the extra padding (of a push up bra), the cup size is smaller. It's pretty, but just not the bra for me.

At first I was intimidated by balconette bras.. Always figured I aldready had so much up top. Dont realy need such a powerful looking bra. However, to my pleasant surprise, this is the most comfortable bra EVER!!!! I felt liek I had no bra on at all. Plsu the gilrs were lifted the entire time. Make me look like I lost some pounds, lol.

The Bra is great and comes in many colors. The only down side is that this bra runs slightly smaller than the regular balconette

What happened to this bra? When the cushion comfort first came out, I was excited about the extra comfort for the underwire. I was right about that when I first boughtthis bra. It fit just right for the 44DDs that I have to lug around all day. Fast forward to a year later. I need a new bra and of course I come back to this one. I even lost 7 lbs so I know the 44DD will fit just fine. So I order it online excited to get my favorite bra back since I wore the other one. Boy was I wrong. This bra now fits horribly! The straps are digging, the girls are squished beyond belief, and the back strap is just tucking itself under my back fat. If I gained weight, I would totally understand that it was me and not the bra, but I lost weight. There is no way that this bra you claim to be a 44DD is. Please bring back the way this bra used to fit. My girls will thank you greatly.

I love this bra. I love it so much, I come back every week just to see when it is going to be REFRESHED AND RESTOCKED! I want a new design, as my size has been sold out of most color and design options for MONTHS! Please, please restock. It is by far the best bra I have ever owned, but my old ones are getting worn out and I need some new ones! Please!

I have worn the balconette for years but this cushion comfort balconette has become my favorite. It fits so well & I can wear comfortably all day long. I wear a 42DD but I do have to buy a 44DD because it does run a little small but the LB salesperson said this was a common comment from their in-store customers. It was not a problem for me though. I didn't mind what the size said as long as the bra fit and was comfortable. The only complaint I have is that I want this bra in a solid white. They make it in "sugar" but it's an off-white and it doesn't match my underwear the way I prefer.

I purchased this bra in Black and again in Cafe Mocha a few months ago, It fit well, very comfortable. However, after wearing less than a dozen times, the shoulder straps begin to fall apart at the seams and stretch/stress and then the straps begin to lose form. Of the two bras, one the strap failed on one side while I was at work and came off entirely. Of the second bra, the straps are beginning to fray vertically on the inside, and popping/fraying it's stitches. It seems the thin straps on this bra aren't engineered well for bigger sizes.

I'm a big fan of the regular balconette bra but always wished the straps were a little more cushioned. I was so happy to see this bra... until i put it on! I HUNG OUT EVERYWHERE! No support on the sides regardless of what size I tried. It's almost like they cut corners with this one. No woman that is a DDD need padding in the cup, either. I just needed a bra with padding in the straps. That's the only good thing this bra has going for it. Maybe if you are a 36-38 it's fine, but not for a 40+... not enough support.

It's such a pity that whoever designed it didn't take into account the fact that the sides of the cups come way too close to one's arms, and after a while it becomes very painful to have it on. Really a shame, because otherwise it is a great bra - fits nice and gives good support. Another thing - because of the cushioning at the bottom, you will generally need to go a cup size up.

Worst bra I have ever purchased! Very uncomfortable. There is no top lining on the side straps which makes the band fall down under the skin creating a roll that hurts. I love the balconette but this one was a fail. Cant return because I snatched the tags off thinking it would fit like the rest. Do your self a favor and just go with the smooth balconette.

At first I thought the band was too tight, but as I moved around it loosened up to exctly wher I needed it to be. Very comfortable not one o those bras that I'm dying to take off. The side bands don't have elastic on the part that goes under your arm, only the bottom where the band is and I find that fabulous! Doesn't dig in there.
